[-] husband and I have a joint account since 1998. We pass thousands of dollars through this account each year. Today I went as I have for 7 year to [-] check from [-] Annuity that is in [-] maiden name which matches [-] drivers license. Today I was refused to be allowed to [-] that check. A [-] manager [-] that since 2008 there are [-] rules and I cannot now have [-] account in [-] married name. But before explaining, [-] [-] manager insulted [-] by starting with [-] statement when I was just questioning why this was happening "you are not going to talk to [-] like that and I am not going to tolerate it." All because I asked why this was happening now and asked to talk to [-] Manager whom we had dealt with for many years. She [-] she was [-] [-] manager and now she was "going to [-] things right." Even though there is a notation in [-] account according to customer service at corporate about [-] maiden name and copies of [-] drivers license, she insisted that I have to bring her [-] marriage certificate. I was made to feel like a criminal and second [-] citizen as a female in [-] own bank branch where I was accompanied by [-] husband himself demanding our marriage license in order for [-] to [-] banking. I used no foul language at all but I was obviously distressed and instead of addressing [-] distress at this sudden change she proceeded to insult [-]. I have called customer service. We shall see what transpires.
