WORST BANK EVER
Months since being a victim of check washing and still waiting for [-] money that they gave away.

Terrible bank with great employees
I have been a customer for 10 yrs. Your bank is so understaffed and impersonal that i [-] be dealing with smaller banks. Went to branch for help and was sent home with a customer service phone number. On [-] [-] pay made [-] bills late after opening [-] account. Last 3 times at [-] branch in rossford [-] i walked out unsatisfied.
This Brookville branch never answers [-] phone. [-] last girl that was [-] branch manager was [-] rudest individual I have ever dealt with. I [-]'t ever complain about anything either. They [-]'t tell you there's anything wrong or that they are putting a hold on anything until you [-] to get your money. Then you find out that there's [-] issue. That is so wrong to [-]. They also won't [-] a check even if it is drawn off of their bank. [-] check is written off of a [-] account and [-] money is there. I wish I never opened [-] account with them. [-] house burned down and I have over $600,00.00 to deposit. Rest assured it [-] NOT be with this bank. I should have read [-] reviews first!
Poor banking institutions
I have requesed why [-] issue [-] branch why money has been taken out of [-] account with no whre or what for. 1500. $ has been gone in two daysnwhen I am only take out 300. in a day. I have a document by Huntington thru a gteivence thru on [-] phone. Months ago I asked face to face and they have n idea what [-] document means. There is always 2 or 3 people asking [-] and no manager never answered [-] even at [-] bank with [-]. I wrote a Office manager on [-] and no answer over months even when I asked to ask [-] and mank manager to reply. I have no idea what this branch or any Huntington Bank [-] not resolve.
I cannot get into [-] account using [-] mobile app, or [-] pc, or [-] automated 24 hour help [-]. No explanations given from any source, poor [-] practice!

This bank is absolutely [-] worst. I have been a Huntington customer for many years but [-] be moving [-] money. I asked them to [-] a wire transfer because I was purchasing a boat out of state. [-] banker refused to [-] it because [-] [-] it was a scam. This has proven not to be a scam but at any rate I am a grown [-] [-]. If I wanted to take [-] money and flush it down [-] toilet it is no [-] of theirs as [-] as I pay [-] fee for [-] transfer. I needed them to come through for [-] and they did not. And this is after I waited [-] hour to even see [-] banker. On another occasion I called them about a boat [-] and they called [-] back and [-] they were too busy to work on it. Could I call back [-] next day. I called back [-] next day and still too busy but they would call [-] back. They never called. So not only [-] I practically have to beg them to transfer [-] own money (which they refused to [-]) but also beg them to even [-] money. I thought those to things were what I had a bank for. This is on [-] Parkersburg branch and [-] is [-] person who never called [-] back and [-] is [-] person who felt [-] need to protect [-] from myself rather than transfer [-] money. [-] wife and I paid off a [-] [-] with Huntington a few years ago. We unfortunately lost [-] title, and we called Huntington to get a lien release letter so we could get a duplicate title. We called them on 9/16/21 and they set up a case number. Today is 11/5/21 and we still [-]'t received [-] lien release letter. They [-] it takes 45 [-] days? This is by [-] [-] worst customer service I have ever experienced. [-] NOT [-] [-] WITH THIS BANK!!!!
I was a customer of TCF Bank for over a decade. Since [-] merger with Huntington, I have had nothing but [-]. But this issue is beyond just a simple problem.
In [-] middle of October I almost got scammed. I deposited checks for services rendered and money to pay venders. 4 checks on October 18th. When [-] person I did work for kept messaging [-] to send money to venders before [-] checks cleared, I knew something was up. So I immediately called customer service, who told [-] to [-] straight to a personal banker. [-] personal banker [-] tell [-] what I need to [-]. When I spoke with [-] banker, they told [-] it’s good that I didn’t send anyone money, and that [-] bad checks would just fall off [-] account. [-] only option I had was to make a police report.
[-] was right [-] checks did fall off [-] account. But then they kept coming back trying to deposit.
Next, thing I know [-] account is completely frozen. So I called customer service and was on hold for [-] hour and a half. They told [-] [-] account is frozen from receiving or taking out any money and that [-] bank [-] no longer [-] [-] with [-]. I’m supposed to receive a cashiers check in [-] [-]. It is extremely unfair that [-] account is even frozen to begin with. I did what I was supposed to [-] when I noticed I was about to be scammed! [-]’t [-] bank representatives put notes in [-] account saying I was trying to resolve [-] problem?!
I have no idea when I’m going to get [-] money in [-] [-].
I [-]’t understand why this is happening when I specifically reported [-] problem to customer service and a personal banker. I did what I was supposed to [-], and I’m being punished for it. I have [-] dollars because all [-] money is in [-] bank. I have 2 kids! I [-]’t even have money for gas! This is insane! [-] could you [-] this to someone?!
I’m going to tell [-] story to every social media outlet. Leaving a family stranded like this is so unethical. I did what I was supposed to [-]. I reported those bad checks twice!
Something needs to happen, or this is going to get way bigger than it needs to be.

Our TCF bank just changed over to Huntington in Ludington, MI. We had 2 TCF locations and 1 Huntington location. They closed 1 of [-] TCF locations making it 1. I was told they were closing [-] 1 Huntington branch now too. So we have all these people going to one office. A small office at that. Maybe 1200 sq ft total. Parking [-]. I tried to [-] in and 50 people in [-]. [-] drive thru packed, [-] parking lot full. I [-] see [-] this goes but probably going to move [-] [-] somewhere [-]. I have been thru 4 bank changes with this bank location and none of them have been like this

Bad experience with [-] local Boyne City, MI branch and Huntington has purposely seemed to make sure you can't find a number at headquarters to report it. A Nightmare [-] Keeps on Going
I just sat on hold for 55 minutes only to be [-] up on. Huntington used to be top notch but now it is impossible to get through to customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK
GOD AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE We refinanced our home with Huntington. We have our [-] accounts with Huntington. We have made two payments ahead of schedule on our [-] mortgage only to be threatened with forced insurance coverage after our insurance company has sent [-] declaration [-] 4 TIMES!!!!!! I have been pushed off on 4 different people at Huntington who have pretty much [-] this is [-] problem. I have been a loyal Huntington Bank customer since it was [-] Am Bank and then [-] Bank. I have [-] personal mortgage through Huntington and they have likely made about $200,000.00 in interest off that [-]. I also had 4 mortgages for rental properties and never missed a payment. On December 26th, 2015 [-] wife of 23 years told [-] she wanted a divorce. I was forced to try and refinance [-] rental properties but Huntington Bank would not [-] it. That led to [-] [-] I had with [-] lawyer where [-] told [-] I was going to have to file bankruptcy. I had no choice since no bank would refinance. Here were are years later and Huntington Bank [-] not allow [-] to deed [-] property to them and [-] not work with [-] to get rid of [-] house. [-] house has been completely destroyed and I am being killed with fines from Toledo for zoning violations. I have attempted to work with Huntington Bank but they refuse, telling [-] to [-] through [-] lawyer (costing [-] thousands of dollars I [-] not have). Recently I have found out I had warrants for [-] arrest. I am a law enforcement officer and this could kill [-] [-]. I filed a complaint with [-] Better [-] Bureau but [-] lady who called, [-] something, again would not or could not help. She did tell [-] that [-] account has a person assigned to it but would not give [-] a name. [-] only reason they can have for not working with [-] to get rid of [-] property is in spite. Every other bank has foreclosed or allowed [-] to [-] a deed in lieu. So much for caring about loyal customers. USAA paid them off and proved [-] check was cashed by Huntington over 2 months ago. I still continue to receive past due notices from their Customer Service [-]. USAA has verified numerous times it was paid off as did customer service when I inquired. I told them I continue to get past due notices and their only reply was I shouldn't be receiving those. Huntington Bank is completely a very irresponsible firm. I came to [-] prior to selling [-] beautiful home in Arizona and [-] [-] one of your [-] officers stated I could get a [-] approval. I informed her that I had a short sale in [-] 2016 and asked if this was going to be a problem. Many times during [-] initial information once I found a home it seemed as though she didn't know her duties. We are Huntington customers. Our branch was Manton Mi. That [-], we were running late for a house closing and stopped at our branch office only to find out it had closed and moved elsewhere. Consequently we needed to redirect to another branch for [-] money we needed for [-] closing. Unfortunately this detour was going to cause us to be late. We called [-] Kalkaska Mi branch and told them our situation and asked if they could have everything ready when we arrived. They enthusiastically went to work and had [-] check ready when we arrived. After being a customer at Huntington bank for over two years. Having [-] personal account in their institution and trusting them with [-] financial assets. [-] customer service representative could not be specific at first when I ask what was [-] miscellaneous transaction about. [-] Simple Debit card was again broken close to [-] [-]. They decided to no simply replace [-] card but close [-] account and issue a [-] card without saying a word about NOT having [-] to [-] current account (knowing this only after [-] card was declined). Now stuck in [-] 30 [-] from home with no gas as [-] customer service supervisor [-] explains there is nothing she can [-]. Great [-] Wondeful Service. Switching Banks ASAP
We have liked Huntington bank BUT when they closed [-] Village of Maybee MI branch it really effected [-] we [-] our banking. [-] Village of Maybee has had a bank here since 1901. [-] closest bank to [-] 560 people living in [-] Village of Maybe plus [-] 3,000 people just outside [-] Village is 20 minutes away. I [-]'t think Huntington took our local businesses and resident's of Maybee in to consideration before they closed. In [-] opinion that goes against what Huntington is supposed to stand for!
2nd worst bank I've had to deal with I went to a branch ATM to withdraw money and in [-] middle of [-] trans [-] [-] ATM gives [-] back [-] card and say temporarily out of service but still took [-] money from [-] account and now im.being told there is nothing they can [-] help [-] now they [-] file a claim and I should SHOULD get [-] money back
Horrible!!! I have been with this bank since 2012 and lately they are hiring incompetent Tellers! [-] branch, 2018 they put $300 [-] in [-] wrong account and I was standing there with teller!!! Feb 2019 Columbus branch, they deposited a [-] check in [-] wrong account in [-] drive through while i was out of town!!! caused [-] great inconvenience!!! now [-] over draft protection I had in placed was removed and they want to charge [-] [-] over draft fee for money they are not paying!!! if they paid it charge [-] if you're not paying [-] draft, remove [-] fee!!!
This bank allows scam money to [-] through its vank it helps people [-] scams
[-] husband had lost his father a couple years ago and today [-] went to deposit his inheritance check from his dad that [-] had just received. This is never a easy situation to deal with in [-] first place and then for your bankers to [-] [-] husband to deposit his deceased fathers check and tell him [-] needs his fathers signature on it or [-] tell [-] state to reissue a check without his fathers name on it is absurd. [-] was so upset after [-] left your bank and call his other syblings that had [-] same exact check as [-] husband and had no issues depositing it . [-] husband [-] now be moving our account to a different bank. We have been a customer of yours for 10 years and this was just uncalled for.
On [-] 10 I deposited a check in [-] account that was wrote to a friend, [-] signed it over to [-]. [-] mext day I tried to sign into [-] online account and it was locked. I called [-] branch amd they told [-] they put a hold on [-] account untill [-] 17. I called out [-] bank every day to make sure [-] account was not overdrawn because i only [-] [-] money for bills in it. Also, i received a letter saying [-] money from [-] checl would be available January17. January17 I tried to sign into [-] account online amd it was still locked. I went to [-] bank amd they told [-], for [-] first time, [-] check was fraudulent. That i had to close [-] account and reopen one. I wejt to [-] [-] got [-] id and wjen i came back into [-] bank i was informed I can not reopen at huntington. I was told because [-] check I have to wait until [-] investigation was over. I asked if they wanted [-] persons name
[-] customer service representatives are beyond rude. I have been lied too and disrespected on more then one occasion. I have spoke with supervisors who assured [-] [-] matter would be taken care of. It has not been. I am ready to take legal [-] at this point. [-] family have been customers for many year's, but it's time we change Banks. I would highly recommend you [-] not bank with Huntington. I would not give them one [-] but there is no way around it.

Bank is horrendous! Run and hide!!! [-] NOT [-] [-] WITH THEM. 10 years after [-] [-] was paid off they still [-]’t sent [-] lien release. [-] [-] department just says “it’s in [-] [-]”!
Huntington is greedy and has overdraft protection which is phony because you still get charged. Thanks for stealing money from people because it's so nice of you people.
